Battery Take-Back – Information According to the German Battery Act (BattG)
Since our shipments may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries, we are obligated under the German Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following: Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Instead, you are legally obligated to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries to ensure proper disposal. Used batteries may contain harmful substances which, if not stored or disposed of properly, can damage the environment or your health. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese, or nickel and can be recycled.
Old batteries and rechargeable batteries can be returned free of charge to public collection points in your municipality and anywhere where batteries and rechargeable batteries of the respective type are sold. You can also return the batteries and rechargeable batteries supplied by us after use to the following address (with sufficient postage) or hand them in directly at our shipping warehouse at the same address:

Batteries or rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the following symbols to indicate the prohibition of disposal in household waste. Below the symbol, the chemical symbol for the respective heavy metal is indicated:

The symbol with the crossed-out wheeled bin means that you must not dispose of batteries and rechargeable batteries in household waste. Underneath this symbol, you will also find the following chemical symbols with the following meanings:
