Monza is not just a racetrack.
Sheer madness at the start
It is the temple of speed. Long straights, brutal braking zones such as the Prima Variante and the legendary Parabolica demand everything from man and machine. Anyone who wants to win here needs not only aerodynamic downforce but pure top speed and damn late braking points.
The start alone delivered drama by the second.
With more than 50 GT3 cars rushing toward the ultra-narrow first chicane at the same time, chaos was inevitable. There were crashes in the midfield, parts flew, and the safety car immediately had to work overtime. Right in the middle of it: the Czech crew of I.S.R. Racing with their fierce Audi R8 LMS, who had to hold their own in the brutal melee of the Pro class.
